Today marks the tenth anniversary of Celestix Networks! Beginning operations on July 31, 1999, and originally producing security appliances featuring Checkpoint firewall and F-Secure anti-virus, Celestix has thrived over the last decade. Celestix was the first hardware appliance vendor to produce a Windows-based managed security appliance based on Microsoft ISA Server 2004. As the innovators in this space, Celestix has seen competitors come and go, but today we are still going strong. Celestix is an employee owned company with a global sales, service, and support operation and has grown to be the industry’s leading managed security appliance vendor. The Celestix product portfolio includes not only the Celestix MSA Series security appliance (featuring Microsoft ISA Server 2006) and the Celestix WSA Series remote access appliance (featuring Microsoft IAG Server 2007), but many other network and security solutions as well, including load balancing, patch management, and two-factor authentication.
This is a very exciting time be working for Celestix. As we get closer to the release of Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway and Unified Access Gateway, Celestix will be producing appliance versions for both of these products as well. Stay tuned for more information!
