Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 runs exclusively on 64-bit Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008R2. This means you will not be able to install the TMG management console included with the installation media on any 32-bit Windows machine. Why can’t I install the ISA 2006 MMC module onto a 64 bit Windows PC?
It simply isn’t a compatabile 64-bit Windows application, unfortunately. Your only options for managing legacy ISA 2006 systems are RDP to the desktop of your ISA firewall, or keep an old x86 system around (VM?).
