Implementing DirectAccess with Windows Server 2016 Now Available
I am very excited to announce that my new DirectAccess book, “Implementing DirectAccess with Windows Server 2016“ from Apress media, is now shipping! Forefront UAG 2010 Video Training Course Now Available
I’m happy to announce that my latest Trainsignal video training course is now available! This new video training course is on Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010. It is an introductory course on Forefront UAG designed to teach network engineers and security administrators the basic essentials of planning, preparing, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintain a Forefront UAG 2010 remote access solution. In the course I demonstrate how to publish popular Microsoft on-premises applications like SharePoint and Exchange Outlook Web App (OWA). In addition I cover publishing Remote Desktop Services and VPN remote access. Southern California IT Professionals Association September Meeting
On Thursday, September 8 2011, I will be presenting an overview of Microsoft Forefront edge security solutions at the Southern California IT Professionals Association monthly meeting. During the session I’ll be providing an overview of Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 and Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010, discussing common deployment scenarios, and highlighting the similarities and differences of the two solutions.
I will also be giving away copies of the Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 Administrator’s Companion and the Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010 Administrator’s Handbook.
